The minimum eligibility criteria for applying for the post graduation degree in this filed is a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and a combination of subjects like Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Life Sciences. Those who wants to go for M.Tech in Nanotechnology must have a B.Tech Degree in any one of the many subjects like Mechanical Science, Material, Chemical, Biomedical science, Electronics and Computer Science or Biotechnology. Those who have completed M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Material Science and Computer Science can go for M.Tech Programs as well.
The students are also required to sit for an entrance test depending on the institute one wants to get through.
